What is music? Music is sound, above all its definitions. Kind of a sound that every human being is exposed to, is being impressed by, is inspired of, is creator of, is commentator of, is propagater of it. Music is a phenomenon that is somehow spreaded to all over the human being comprising all times from begining of mankind, like air beyond the time. Under this air every single vibration is getting  incorporated with another in somewhere of this timeless zone and gives birth to somehow the most precious sound of the universe, a song.

What does grant this preciousness to the sound? The creators of the vibrations or the listeners who carries the responsibility of the culture of taste of human kind which composed through time? Or both? Who does own the sound?

Every sıngle sound that has been vibrating through the time to our ears is ours. Every single note is ours and every single melody that consist of these notes is ours. Music belongs to mankind who can make a sound and who can hear a sound.

Music is ours. Music is open. From the begining, music is being created in an open-source way. Every sound and every taste of sound is inherited from the past. A song is a cooperation of lots of people through the time even they don't know this. Now it is time to remind this.

What is Mio? Mio is a reminder to the people of the open-source mentality of music. Mio is highlighting the idea, music is ours, music is open, music is open-source. We are proud of being in the staff which is in the inception of the inevitable, the music will be created open-source, will be listened freely again.
